HISTORY

The Beginning of a Better Way

In the 1990s, while working in the construction industry, Kenneth (Kenny) Doeden identified a major gap in how slats were being replaced. The traditional methods were inefficient and costly, causing unnecessary damage to facilities and slats, halting animal production during renovations, and driving up labor expenses for building owners. He saw an opportunity to modernize the process and reduce these burdens.

Engineering the Future

Kenny explored a range of alternatives and emerging tools that could make slat replacement more efficient and cost effective. In 1999, after three years of planning, refining ideas, and envisioning a better approach, he and his sons set out to build a machine that would transform the slat replacement process.

Innovation Through Persistence

Through countless hours of determination, extensive testing, and continual refinement, the Doeden Slat Replacement System took shape. What began as a single machine evolved into a coordinated system of three machines working together as one to streamline the entire process
